1. Summary
Adjoin does not use third-party tracking cookies. Ads served through our network do not set
cookies on visitors' browsers for advertising purposes.
2. What is stored on a visitor's device
adjoin:s(sessionStorage) — a random session identifier used only for aggregate
analytics we provide to publishers. It is cleared when the browser tab closes.
adjoin:seg(sessionStorage, optional) — a publisher-declared segment label, if the
publisher uses that feature. It contains no identifier.
Neither is a cookie, and neither leaves the visitor's browser attached to any personal
identifier.
3. What we do not do
We do not set cross-site cookies, do not use device fingerprinting to build profiles, and do
not participate in cookie-syncing with other ad networks.
4. Publisher obligations
Publishers remain responsible for their own cookie banners and consent flows. Because our
network is cookieless and contextual, embedding Adjoin does not, by itself, require consent
for advertising cookies in most jurisdictions. This is information, not legal advice.
